When we meet
We like to meet all the pets before we commit to caring for them; to ensure that everyone is comfortable. During the visit, we will introduce ourselves to you and get to know your pets. To us, each pet is special in their own way and we want to ensure we understand your cat, see what they like to play with or whether they are simply looking for a lap to cuddle up on.
When we visit you at home we can review your animal's routines and you can show us where the cleaning supplies are stored. If you have a special request or routine that you would like incorporated into the visit we will gladly accommodate this. Some pets like to be cuddled and sung to or taken outside on a lead. Please let us know what special requests your pet has.
We will not:
- Make visits less than once a day for your pet.
- Provide initial sitting services without meeting you first. After the initial service, plans can be arranged over the phone or by e-mail.
- Be liable for the safety of pets that are allowed outdoor access through pet doors, patio doors, windows, etc. We will take great care to prevent cats from escaping through the door when we enter and leave, but we cannot protect against escapes when other exits are permitted.
- Allow building contractors, friends, neighbors, relatives, or real estate agents on your property during the service period in which I am responsible for your home and pets.
- Leave the keys in your home. We will return the keys directly to you.
- We will not make medical decisions regarding your pet without contacting you unless we cannot reach you in an urgent situation.
